Hi- it’s been forever. I hope all’s great with you. I haven’t been around your blog or any others for ages. Life got in the way. Living in L.A.; all’s well. :)

I’ve been blogging for about 4 years.  The blog has resided under different names, but it is here now.  The blog was entitled “Hiding in Plain Sight” because I was sick of getting into trouble from people at work, people at church, and being stalked by ex-husbands.  So this blog isn’t searchable and the only way you found me was through someone else or my Twitter account.  It means I’ll never be able to advertise and become like Dooce.  C’est la vie.

All that being said, I am a 52 53 year old woman living in the Republican and Mormon-induced haze of Utah.  I am neither.  But strangely enough I like it here.  It is beautiful country, I have wonderful friends, and a great job.

I don’t talk about my job on the blog, but I love it.  I get to do everything I love to do: write, build websites, play at graphic artistry, develop crazy ideas and take them to market.

I am an avid reader, great cook, above-average alto, dedicated mom to adult children, and a loyal friend.  I also have a healing business that I do on the side.  I am snarky, opinionated (I was told by a real Princess at the age of 13 that I was far too opinionated, apparently only Princesses are allowed to have opinions) and perhaps too willing to give of my time and talents to support others’ dreams at the expense of my own. I say perhaps, because the jury is still out on that one.

I love purses, wine, good food, and sugar in any form.  I would choose creme brulee over chocolate, salmon over steak, and Brahms over Bach.  I knit compulsively. I watch General Hospital and listen to NPR.  I love Las Vegas and the south of France. I am single and intend to remain so for quite a while.

And there you have it.
